The Wildstorm break-up How can a company survive such a terrible blow to the guts as Wildstorm (plus etc)'s departure? What was Image's strategic reaction to this loss? Image's revenue stream is title, not sales based. With the departure of Wildstorm we had to replace "x" number of titles, they could have been ANY title. Image derrives it's money for internal operation from a flat fee levied against a book, not from a percentage of the books sales, so, when looked at that way it was not as traumatic as it would be for more traditional publishers. Are the consequences still being felt? In what terms? No, not at all.
